Sarina mayor Kevin Morgan says the shire has introduced new restrictions as the water level in the town's dam falls to a dangerous level. Mr Morgan's appealing to people to conserve water by turning off sprinklers and disconnecting dishwashers. "It's something we can't police but by making people aware of the large amounts of water kitchen dishwashing systems use, hopefully people will help us in this regard," he said. "The worst of it is that there's no sign of rain on the horizon."
