Greetings, if that salutation is appropriate,

Below is the text of a letter I delivered to the Veteran Center at the J. Sargent Reynolds Community College, Parham Road campus. I could have taken it to the Richmond Downtown campus or even to the nearby George Wythe High School. But, that would have violated Richmond being a Timism Deadzone.

Greetings,

I am looking for two veterans to help me with internet research. The work will benefit the military and veterans. Besides an hourly wage, you will have a two-tier bonus in stock options in my internet start-up. The final bonus will be signficant inasmuch as I intend to give away most of the stock (99%plus) to military and veterans. At the minimum, the final bonus should cover the tuition/book costs of a four-year state college.

Attached is my academic transcript and resume.

If you are interested, please email me the following.

  1. A career summary and career goals, e,g, a resume.
  2. Your career major.
  3. What you need as a an hourly wage working a minimum of five hours a week. (Please don't ask me what I am willing to pay--a sure deep-six of your info.)
  4. Best daytime meeting, lunch would be best probably
  5. Any vet will receive a minimum of five shares with an IPO/LBO of $25/share. (I don't need the inevitable dollars. As you will see, I prefer vets to receive the free stock options.)

Based on the response, I will schedule a meeting as well as forward a fuller description of the internet research. Deadline is Wednesday, Feb 14, 2008.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

This is the first of many. And, when people ask why Timism boycotts Richmond, the answer is simple a "million dollar parking policy" maintained by Crowjimmers on Anne Street.
