To whom it may concern,

I recently relocated to Minneapolis from Richmond, Virginia. I am seeking a primary care physician. I am need of a physical checkup as well as medication for narcolepsy. A few years ago I complained to my physician, Dr. William F. Bryce, (804-323-0177) of finding that I have to drink more coffee to stay awake. He prescribed methyphenidate 20mg ER. Until he retired, he wrote me a new script each month. Despite my efforts to stay awake without it, I find that I am relying more and more on coffee and caffinated beverages once again. While I find the frequent five-fifteen minute naps enjoyable, they interfere immensely with trying to launch an internet service.

Below are the nap times recorded on two recent days.

Basically every  90 minutes or so, I get sleepy, falling into a nap within 60 seconds. My abnormal sleep habits extends back to the military and college. It is a family trait.

This is my basic problem which I find can be treated on a monthly basis of $10 in medication. I mention this because some physicians have said they want to enroll me in sleep studies which I don't want to do. I am fifty-two years old. I want to work. I don't intend to take this medication after the webservice is launched. I look forward to a lot of naps before the big nap. This narcolepsy prevents me from getting my thoughts together on the internet project long enough before I fall asleep. Actually, it seems the harder I concentrate the sooner I get sleepy.

If you would like to pick up another patient in overall good health (could lose some weight), please call  me at 612-414-0881 or email me at elsetimer@timism.com so I can make an appointment.

Sincerely,

Bob Barnett
