1. VA: In my last four V.A. visits, I have more problems than in all my years of V.A. visits, no service or worse.
    1. Prostrate exam: No Prep material was sent so I had to reschedule and re-visit.
    2. Prostrate exam: I have never had such a painful rectal exam--See letter to Dr. ?? Stykes. I am presently willing to live with prostrate cancer and die an earlier death than feel like a victim of Vlad the Impaler who was also known as Russia's Ivan the Terrible.
    3. Glasses missing: Because I could not get an early V.A. exam and my eyesight is failing, I used an outside prescription service which I delivered to the V.A.  When I showed up at the eyeglass service in response to a call, they could not find my glasses. They ordered new ones.
    4. Glasses Wrong (enclosed): One week later these glasses came to me. I cannot see through them. I requested reading lenses. These are long distance lenses.
  2. I need new glasses because my eyesight is failing noticeably faster. I have had more headaches in the last few months than in all my life. I ascribe to eye strain.
  3. If I succeed in my new business venture, my ability to be a productive person is as important to you as servicing a veteran.
    1. Enclosed is my abbreviated resume.
    2. I started using the V.A. after my wife had a botched heart surgery that cost $330,000. Busted my budget! But at the same time I was viewing the V.A. as a model for a national healthcare system. I visit the V.A. weekly to informally watch and learn to complement my on-line research. I don't care about the petty nature of my recent personal problems but I do care that this may be a trend like the Walter Reed fiasco that is unreported because there is no central information feedback.
  4. I have always been thankful for the V.A. My motive to use the V.A. as a model is to include a "royalty fee" that is paid to the V.A. from the broader general health care system as it is restructured to provide simple, more efficient care (which has failed me recently).

I would like for you to call the eye clinic to schedule me an early appointment of my eyes so I can read, write and type without headaches.
