Dear Dr. Abouhasira,

I would appreciate your initiating refills of the Modifinal anti-narcolepsy prescription. Kindly let me know if this is or is not possible via my phone 804-233-7541 or email demcapu@comcast.net.

Overall, I am in good health tho I still need to lose weight. I have had a few emergency room visits. Once for shingles. Once for arthritis. And, once for what turned out to be a spider bite on my right cheek that initially seemed to be a stroke before discovering the bite, e.g., slurring speech and lopsided face from the swelling induced by the spider's venom. I was very impressed with signin nurse who jumped into action when I appeare with my VA ID card slurring, "stroke." The following Monday, I took two dozen roses to the ER, one dozen for her and another for the ER clinic.

As you know, it is probably a waste of time to schedule an exam since I won't go to the blood clinic to have my blood drawn. I simply fear for my life as a result of how I was twice mis-treated by staff as well as two incidences outside the staff. Clearly, the clinic director shared specifics about me with the staff of which I complained. This was unethical. I am still willing to pay the extra cost of having my blood drawn in the ER. As is, that is what I do since I am now like the person without insurance who uses the ER for primary care.

Thinks are going good. Am slowly launching my webservice with a small, but growing, "cadre" of supporters. My garden was its greatest ever: 15 bushels of cucumbers (190 quarts of pickles), 5 bushels of potatos, 15 bushels of tomatos (60 quarts of sauce/salsa), squash (40 quarts) and probably 20 bushels of sweet potatos. My wife picked so many beans and berries she started to invite neighborhood kids to pick berries and parents to pick beans. I am submitting a 4-part article to the Washington Post on how to be a lazy, smart gardener.

Hope all is going well with you.

Best wishes,

bob barnett
