Dear President Obama et. al.,

Based on my mistreatment by the V.A. each time I complained about mistreatment, there may be another way that VA facility directors are improving their stats, that is, disenrolling vets and cancelling benefits. As a number of people have expressed to me without coaching after learning my travails, I think the V.A. is trying to reduce costs by driving vets away from seeking V.A. services.

When my benefits were cancelled and I complained, I was "gulagized," that is, the director of the Richmond Virginia McGuire V.A. hospital had a social worker contact me to see if I was a danger to others or myself. Instead of addressing my complaints, I was classifed as a mental case. Is this not what the Soviet Union did to its dissidents by throwing political protestors with legitimate gripes into mental hospitals?

Because of my being "gulagized," I am paranoid of going into a V.A. facility especially since they have made me wait in public areas until a security guard shows up. For many reasons, I am not a threat to others. However, the V.A. mistreatment has since January prompted more episodes of depression and suicide than I ever had. Previously, I was sad about our world, not depressed about my world--a big difference.

Please visit my webpage at www.Timism.com\VA.htm for the links embedded in the enclosed Index page (initial pages enclosed).

The V.A. has condemed me to a living hell (diary) by cancelling a $9/month prescription. I have easily spent 100's of hours and 100's of dollars trying to rectify this situation. Since I am on record of leaving my estate (small or large) to the V.A. volunteer services, the V.A. is taking money away from the vets ... and much more.

Thanking you in advance for any assistance, I have told hundreds or thousands when you come up in conversation, "I am an old vanilla man who is happy and proud to have a chocolate familty in America's White House. I don't agree with all of his policies, but I am not going to cut off my nose to spite my face merely because the President has a better tan than me."

Sincerely,

Robert S. Barnett

P.S. You may remember me when you campaigned in 2008 in Richmond, Virgina. I was in the crowd with a sign, "Obama hath karma." On a less positive note, I won the Washington Post 2011 SOTA (State of the Union Address) contest in which I had you resigning because America is becoming a failed state: We play, play, play.

P.S.P.S. All the time I have put into this V.A. mess could have been put into more worthwhile projects, e.g., www.Seed-Bees.com, Martin Cobb, etc.
