Credo of Lifeboats

  1. All play and no politics make Jack and Jill destitude with no pension, healthcare, job, shelter or food: Katrina victims and GM workers.
  2. Spending time and money on home and insurance is useless without some time and money to insure good politics and good economics. Habitual politicians will vote away your future. Their economists will sanctify bad policies with silly soundbytes, e.g., no death tax for the rich is a living tax on the middle-class.
  3. Without better democracy and better capitalism, what needs to be done will not be done to provide for our needs.
  4. The promise of Timism: With better democracy and better capitalism, we can better organize and reward our humanity to have a 24-hour workweek in six months with more disposable currency (time and money) for self, family and community in a safer, saner world. We can have the hope of not only a better world but the hope of saving life on earth.
  5. The goal of Timism:
    1. Using brainbees for better problem-solving
    2. by constructively tapping the intelligence of the people
    3. who live with and know the problems
    4. to implement productively policies
      1. without the corruption of habitual politicians and
      2. without having to having to become full-time activists.
  6. With timistic tools, we can have a government of the people, by the people and for the people.
